The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Sharon Ellis can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Youth Theatre

I was the Youth Theatre Director at the Chattanooga Little Theatre. I arrived in 1983 and Sharon was already an active participant. I remember how gracious, good natured and professional she was with each role, big and small. Because of her height (or lack there of) and curly hair, everyone kept telling her that she would be the perfect Annie. I know that probably put pressure on her. Sharon was very talented, but when the Little Theatre finally decided to do the play, she was too old for the part. It was probably a disappointment to her, but you would never know. She was always humble and modest. In theatre we have a name for people like her - "class act." My sincere condolences to Brad and all her family and friends.
