Kid Stuff

I was 10, that would have make Kathy 6, 1958, we moved from Tonowanda NY to
Seattle Washington.  Lot's of rain, evergreen trees, mountains, and blue sky (when
it did'nt rain). We would pick black berries, I'm sure Kathy helped make pie, I remember
getting milk from Kent Valley, the cream on top was good. It was a real dairy. I remember
mother would draw, all kinds of pictures. She drew a Roman Soldier kneeling in prayer for
me. And we owned a sign shop, mother would do the art work, daddy the sales. I think Kathy
got an early art start, and developed from there. There was an old house, abandoned, that us
kids would play in, we put a matress on some bushes below a window, and jumped out the second
floor, Great Stuff for Kids. I had a brick fall on my head, lots of blood, nothing serious.
Daddy cut wood for the fire place, nearly burned the house down. If you like black burry pie, we
had some, Kathy learned how to make moola (a portugeese dish)..
