The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Linda Edge can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Kind Beautiful Lady

Linda is six years older than me and we used to ride the same bus growing up.  I would save her a seat in the morning as we got on in Sutallee and she lived close to the Fields Landing Road.  The bus would pick the High School Students up first and then come by Canton Elementary to pick the rest of us up in the afternoon.  Each afternoon Linda had saved me a seat.  Back then a lot of us had to stand up on the bus.  It was nice to have a seat waiting on me.  She was so kind to me always and made me feel grown up.  Later on I would be pleased to find out she was my Aunt Lou's husband James' baby sister.  Always, whenever I saw Linda she knew me and greeted me with a smile - even when you could tell she did not feel well.  Linda's beauty and kindness walks in Heaven today where there is no more pain or sickness.  I am honored to have known her.  May God hold y'all tight.
