The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Randall Moody can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Treats with a Smile

I lived on Adonald Road growing up in elementary school.   The kids and I that lived on that road would often walk to Clayton Store for treats. Mr. Moody was always there, he would always smile at us, tease us about the candy we were buying and he always knew us by name. He knew our parents and he made sure we stayed out of troube too.  As a teen, when I was driving, I stopped by the store often for more treats and gas. Again, Mr. Moody would always call be out by name and ask me about my life.  Later down the road after marriage and kids, he learned the name of my kids and would always smile and ask me how they were doing.  I would ask him about Brian and his grandkids.  In the 36 years I have lived in the Clayton Community and have been visiting Clayton Store, I have never witnessed Mr. Moody be unkind to a single human.  He was one of the kindest, most gentle men I knew and a great role model for us kids.  You will be missed very much!!
