Gene Childers, age 88, of Canton, GA passed away Friday, April 27, 2018 at his residence.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, on Monday, April 30, 2018, from the Burnt Mountain Baptist Church with Rev. Buck Parker, Rev. Jerry Sims and Rev. Jason Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at the Salem Baptist Church Cemeteryin Jasper.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM on Saturday, April 28, 2018 until 12:30 PM on Monday, April 30, 2018 at the South Canton Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by, Parents: Arthur Lee and Beatrice Childers, Son: Frank Childers, Brother: Alfred Childers, Sister: Willie Bea McCurley
