Condolence: I had the pleasure of working with Donnie for many years at United Family, and again when he was regional manager at Great Western. I could always hear the smile in his voice on the phone. That smile was genuine and his laugh was uniquely his. It was always nice to have a fellow Tech Fan in this world of Georgia fans. Condolence: Donnie was a great friend during my 16 years at UFL, and a great resource when I was asked to automate and train the sales force. His sense of humor kept us all smiling despite the usual ups and downs of work life and seemingly incessant conferences, "training games" and the like. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing, esp. at such a young age. He will be missed by many. My heart goes out to his family.

Condolence: Donnie went to work with me at National Life three days after graduating from Georgia Tech. I knew that day he was one of the smartest men I had ever met. Then working with him I found him to be a fantastic salesman, great guy and wonderful friend. I shared many, many memorial times with Donnie. I will really miss him. Thanks for the memories my old friend. God bless your family.

Condolence: Dear Bailey Family, I am so sorry to learn of Donnie’s passing. I was so surprised to find out how gravely ill he had become so quickly. He will be missed by so many. All I know is that he is in a very special place in heaven. Through the sadness of your loss I know you will also be celebrating his life which definitely deserves much celebration. He and I had confirmation groups together among other things for several years and he was so wonderful with those kids. Always smiling and having fun with them. He knew his Bible and he had the gift to relate its teachings to them. I know he made such a difference for countless youth (and myself) in their journey with Christ. Your wonderful family knows that more than I. May God give you comfort through this tough time and remember all of those who are with you in spirit as you say goodbye and morn his loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: I have known Donnie since high school days. I am from Berrien Co. My cousin Jack Connell introduced me to Donnie. I recall his smile, his friendliness and his dependability. If Donnie gave you his word it was done. He came to Tennessee where I live now to play in a golf tournament we have. He easily made many new friends here. From Tn. From Idaho. From Florida. From Texas. All my friends Donnie made his friends. Great guy. Donnie was one of the good guys in high school and remained one of the good guys when we reconnected here in Tennessee. Our thoughts and prayers to Donnie’s family and friends, especially Jack who loved him as a brother. Donnie, one night in the summer when it is hit, I will put on a long sleeve white shirt as you did in this South Ga summer nights, and wear it in memory of you. Godspeed my friend.
