Joseph Lamar Jones, age 75, of Canton, GA passed away Monday, February 12, 2018 at Canton Nursing Center. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy Reserve.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, on Thursday, February 15, 2018, at the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Tuesday, February 13, 2018, and from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at South Canton Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by, Parents: Dorsey & Mamie Jones, Sister: Mary Alice Gurley, & Son-in-Law: Donald Anderson

Children - Chuck (Peggy) Jones, Canton; Laura Anderson, Canton; & Steven Jones, Canton
Grandchildren - Blake Anderson, Cole (Kaylee) Anderson, Katie Jones, Jesse Mire, & Jonathon Mire
Great Grand Children - Layton Anderson, Landon Anderson, & Gracie Anderson
Brother - Roger (Joannie) Jones
