The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Doris Johnson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolences

Condolence From: Melissa (Barnett) Kohring - Granddaughter
Condolence: My grandmother “Granner” was not only my grandmother but my kindred spirit. We were not only related but spiritually connected in a very special way. We both felt a deep connection to each other. I miss her everyday. I prayed that the Lord would allow her to be part of my life everyday until the day I leave this earth and that she meets me in the here after. I praise the Lord that he allows her this to happen. From the hot air balloons that follow me, to the songs on the radio that remind me of her, to her favorite colors that arrive in special places, and so many more moments that the Lord allows to keep us connected which serve to sooth how much we miss one another.

I know the Lord will bring us together again. Until then, I miss you Granner but I know through the Lord you are still very much here with me.

Granner, feel free to haunt/follow me everyday of my life. I look forward to each of our special moments. 🥰

Condolence: Doris was a terrific lady and always smiling. I worked with Doris for many years at a Bank and she always had kind words to say about everyone and was such a fun loving person to be around. Rest in peace Doris, you will be sadly missed!

Condolence: Doris was a self-less, loving, giving woman. She always had a smile on her face and something sweet to say. Women like Doris don’t exist anymore. She was dearly loved and will be sorely missed.

Rest In Peace in Heaven. You’ve lived a long, wonderful life.
