Kenneth Walter  Miller
Kenneth Walter Miller of Adairsville, Ga., died on Monday, April 03, 2017 at Redmond Hospital in Rome, Ga. He was 77 years old. He was born on November 06, 1939 in Carroll, Iowa. He attended Audubon Elementary School, Middle School and High School. In 1962 he married Gisela H. Miller, and together they adopted (2) children, Susan and Carlo. Kenneth entered the Military in 1957 and served in the Navy until his retirement in 1981. Kenneth initially entered in the Navy and was promoted through the enlisted ranks to Chief Petty Officer, he then obtained the rank of Warrant Officer and then he achieved the final rank of Lieutenant prior to his retirement. While in the Navy, Kenneth served as a Cryptologic Maintenance Technician. He was awarded (8) Good Conduct Medals, (3) Overseas Medals, (2) Vietnam Service Medals, and National Defense, Navy Unit Commendation Medal and a Meritorious Unit Commendation Medal. Upon Retirement Kenneth worked as a defense government contractor for Electro Space Incorporations until his final retirement as a Logistics Manager and Subject Matter Expert. Kenneth was a lifelong Christian and a member of the St. Clemons Catholic Church. While in retirement Kenneth also provided guidance to the City Council of Adairsville as a consultant for the City Library volunteering his precious time. He dedicated himself to the commitment of excellent in all walks of this life. He was known for his candor and unwavering integrity. Kenneth was a unique soul, light hearted, funny and enjoyed his friends, family and meeting new people. He will be sorely missed.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, on Thursday, April 06, 2017, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Father Deacon Bradford Krupa officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery at 2:30 PM.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 06, 2017, at South Canton Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Chester and Eva Miller
Brothers: Joseph and Chester, Jr. Miller

Survivors include:
Wife - Gisela Miller
Son - Carlo (Angela) Miller
Daughter - Susan (Dennis) Diamond
Grandchildren - Zachary, Taylor, Nicholas, Ana and Lauren
