Obituary for Nola Dean Jones (McClain)

Nola Dean Jones (McClain)
Nola Dean Jones, age 80, of Canton, GA passed away Tuesday, November 22,
2016 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. She leaves behind her son, Tommy Jones (wife Karen), two grandchildren - Matthew and Anna Jones, a sister - Lynda Hornsby, and several nieces and nephews.

Nola Dean was born in Valley, AL, where she lived most of her life. She was a member of Fairfax United Methodist Church in Valley, AL. For many years, she worked under the State of Alabama Vocational Rehab. Department. as an Office Administrator. She also enjoyed selling Mary Kay cosmetics, which gave her the opportunity to meet new people, and to do what she loved - making others feel special. She moved to Canton 8 years ago to be closer to her son, his wife, and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Jones, who passed away in 1979. She was a devoted wife, and loving mother and grandmother. Nothing made her happier than spending time with her family.

The family takes comfort in the words of Revelation 21:4, which says, "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

Memorial Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, on Sunday, November 27, 2016,
from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM, Sunday, at South
Canton Funeral Home.
