The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Anna Johnston can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you for introducing us to such a lovely and graceful woman. Anna was dedicated to the Lord, her family and her friends. She is among legions of angels right now.

Condolence: I wanted to express my most sincere and deepest sympathy for your loss. I've lost many whom I love and I've found much comfort in the Bible. Second Corinthians 1:3,4 tells us that God is the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort who comforts us in all our tribulations. He promises us that there will soon come a time when "He will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and death will be no more!"-Revelation 21:4. When you feel up to it, maybe you'd like to read these passages in your copy of the Bible: John 5:28,29, Acts 24:15, and Psalm 37:9-11. They truly helped me to cope during this most difficult time, and I hope that they will comfort you also!

Condolence: I was my honor to meet Miss Anna when I placed her on our hospice service. She was feisty even though she felt poorly and was tired. Chicken livers and potato salad for dinner! Blessings to her sweet family.

Condolence: Miss Anna was a Lovely Person, I sang with her for some time in the choir at church. Gave her rides home where she would make us tea and had some of the most warm talks with her about life. She will be missed and I am sad to your loss. She was a great role model and one of those people you never forget. Peace to your family at this time and God's love.

Condolence: Miss Anna was a remarkable lady. She was an active and faithful member of the Holly Spring UMC choir. She was always present at rehearsals despite her infirmities and advanced age. She was always so sweet and caring to me and my family. You'll always be a part of us.
