Obituary for Edith Hooper Lawson (Hooper)

Edith Hooper Lawson, age 89, of Kennesaw, GA passed away Friday, August 26, 2016 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. She loved flowers, hummingbirds, birds and butterfly's. She spent her time reading, but most of all she loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren with such a passion she would do absolutely anything for them and loved them unconditionally. She loved God and was of the Baptist faith and never wavered from her faith. She loved her family and getting together with them. Family meant everything.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, on Monday, August 29, 2016, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Minister Butch Lawson officiating. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Saturday, August 27, 2016, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, August 28, 2016, and from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour, Monday, August 29, 2016 at South Canton Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by, Husband-Herman Lawson, Sr.; Mother & Father-Elin & Will Hooper; Brothers & Sisters- Fred Hooper, Bobbie Tanner, Flossie Cagle, Buddy Hooper, Bill Hooper, Jack Hooper
