The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Dieter Arnold can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Dieter will be missed. He was more a brother than a brother in-law. Many good memories of high school, the teen club and acting out on the school bus at Fort Monroe. The first words I would hear Mon-Fri were "I'd rather be dead than red on the head". Rest in peace Dieter and we will one day meet again. With love to all "Maggie".

Condolence: To Carolyn, Tanya, Natasha and Papa's grandchildren that I know from the stories I'm told, he loved dearly. The goodness of a man may be seen in the lives of his children, and if that is so, Dieter Arnold was a good man. I love you Natasha and Tanya and I am thinking of you and your mom and children as you celebrate the life of your dad. I wish I had known him, but I appreciate the kindness, compassion and love for family and friends that he and your mom instilled in both of you. My prayers are for your strength and comfort.

Condolence: I got to know Mr.Dieter where I work at Cherokee Lanes. He'd come in and see us 2-3 times a week. He would crack jokes and have a great time. He will be greatly missed. I learned so much from him in talking with him. We have a mug of his that he used if you the family would like to get it,if not we will put it up. Was lucky enough to meet him. He was a blessing.

Condolence: Rangers never die!

Airborne Rangers merely move on to the next objective. I am humbled and honored to know that my Uncle Dieter and I shared a common bond- the love of country and the willingness to fight from within the special operations community; both earning the right be in the LRRP/LRSD brotherhood.

Thank you for your service to this nation.

Eidelweiss und Honig warten auf die selige, mein Onkle!

Condolence: To the Arnold family,
You were his life.
When he and I would meet and talk. If I didn't have long to talk I'd ask him how he was - If I had plenty of time, I ask him how the family was!
I knew I was in for a catch-up listing of recent accomplishments of the daughters or grand kids.
Truly devoted to you.
Gods Speed!

Condolence: To the Arnold family we offer our sincerest condolences on the loss of Dieter Arnold. We never had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Arnold, but if we had we would thank him for his years of sacrifice and patriotism in serving our country. We were saddened to hear of his passing.

Our daughter Madison Kutschke is Abby's friend and gymnastics teammate. We will keep Natasha and Abby in our thoughts and prayers as you continue forward. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you in this difficult time.
