Helen "Marie" Farist, age 87, of Cartersville, GA passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 at Cartersville Medical Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, on Tuesday, January 19, 2016, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Jacky Swafford, and Rev. Keith Quinn officiating. Interment will follow at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Sunday, January 17, 2016, and from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday, January 18, 2016 at South Canton Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by, Husband; Rev. Felton C. Farist, Son; Jerry Farist, Grand Daughters; April Robinson, and Brittany Quinn, Great-Grandson; Dalton Robinson.

Daughter - Gail (Joe) Simmons, Acworth
Daughter - Zandra (Allan) Williford, Cartersville
Daughter - René ( Jacky) Swafford, Waleska
Daughter - Brenda (Johnny) Jeffery, Oklahoma
Daughter - Kim (Keith) Quinn, Cartersville
20 Grandchildren, 32 Great Grand Children, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren also survive.
