Obituary for Robert Gerald Keiser

Robert Gerald Keiser, 79, of Ball Ground, GA passed away December 26, 2014.

Originally from Cincinnati, OH, Mr. Keiser was known to most as Bob or Bobby. Bobby fell in love with a sweet little red headed classmate named Betty Jean Saling and stole her heart. The lovebirds were married and had two beautiful children, a daughter, Karen, and son, Keith.

Bobby spent the majority of his career working with The Kroger Company until retirement. During his retired years, Bobby enjoyed working in his backyard garden, crafting new projects in his workshop, working on puzzles, feeding as many birds as possible, and swinging on his back porch with his wife.

Bobby’s absence leaves a hole in the heart of many but none greater than that of his wife of 60 years, Jean, daughter Karen (Clark) Yokley and son Keith (Angie) Keiser. He will also be missed by the grandchildren and great grandchildren who he regularly spent time with and who made him smile - Tait & Dara Yokley along with their children Garrett, Grant, Camryn and Caroline, Kristine & Joe Kimbrell along with daughter Callahan, and Sydney Keiser.

No memorial service is planned at this time, but local donations can be made in Mr. Keiser’s memory to the Ball Ground Fire Department.
