Obituary for Irma Ovelle Burke

Irma Ovelle Burke, age 84, of Canton, GA passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Canton Nursing Center . Mrs. Burke was a life long Georgia resident and of the Baptist Faith. She was retired from the Hartford Insurance Company.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, on Friday, August 29, 2014, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Caylor, and Rev. Cody Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday, August 27, 2014, and from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 4:00PM to 9:00PM onThursday, August 28, 2014 and from 10:00AM until the funeral hour on Friday, August 29, 2014, at South Canton Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by, Husband: John Burke, Jr.
Son: Michael White
Step-daughter: Peggy Thomas
