Elsie Gusta Vols, age 92, of Walnut, IL, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at Northside Hospital Cherokee. She was a homemaker and of Catholic faith. She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Van Note, Canton; 2 granchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Services for Mrs. Vols will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2010, in Sheffield, IL with interment in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements in Sheffield, IL will be handled by Garland Funeral Home , 14733 Illinois Hwy., Walnut, IL (815) 379-2010. There will be no local visitation.
